The Village

Boldron is a small attractive village in the south of the Teesdale district approximately 2.5 miles from Barnard Castle. Diversification has taken place around the village from farming to agricultural contracting, plant hire and off road driving courses.

The Hall

The village hall was built in 1962 for the use of the parish and the surrounding farms. During 2001 extensive refurbishment took place to include a new kitchen and new toilet facilities. The size and layout of Boldron Village Hall make it an ideal choice for private and business functions.

The hall is available for hire for:

Regular activities ongoing in the hall include parish meetings, WI and domino drives.

Maximum Capacity: 100 in hall

Facilities: The modern kitchen facilities include a fridge, microwave and cooker. The presence of a mobile stage with permanent spot lights makes Boldron an ideal venue for stage productions. There are also toilet facilities accessible to all.

Equipment: There are adequate chairs and tables. Ample crockery and cutlery is available.

Parking: There is no designated car park but roadside parking is available.

Access: There is access into the hall by ramps and handrails.
